The dispatcher’s assistant, from the call to the vehicle

From the moment a 9-1-1 call is received until vehicles arrive on scene, the Radar suite supports the dispatcher at every step. One suite, integrated end to end, for police, fire and other municipal services.

Radar Syncro: Next Generation 9-1-1 call answering

Radar Syncro is our 9-1-1 call answering application, designed and developed in Québec for Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1). It complies with the NENA i3 standards, the North American reference for NG9-1-1.

Radar Syncro connects directly to Radar Urgence, our call card management software. The incoming call feeds the call card with no re-entry: the dispatcher works in a single environment, and the call’s information follows the incident all the way to police officers and firefighters.

Full integration across the suite

Because Radar Syncro is part of the Radar suite, integration doesn’t stop at the emergency centre. Call answering, call cards, mobile dispatch, police management and fire management share the same information, from the first ring to the final report.

  • Compliant with NENA i3 Next Generation 9-1-1 standards
  • Direct link with Radar Urgence and the call card
  • Full integration with mobile dispatch, police management and fire management
  • A turnkey solution, designed and supported in Québec

Radar Urgence: computer-aided dispatch

The Radar call card brings together everything needed to handle 9-1-1 and 1-1-2 calls. As soon as an address is entered, the dispatcher sees what matters: previous calls, special-needs records (PNAP), hazardous materials and points of interest. Dispatchers relay information to police and firefighters, follow each call live and see the status of every vehicle.

Paired with mobile dispatch, Radar Urgence sends call cards straight to vehicles. The handling time of every call is measured automatically, and an incident log keeps all of an event’s information in one place.

Fire mobile dispatch

The firefighters’ in-vehicle application. In the truck, on the way to the call, the crew sees the route, fire hydrants and everything they need to know before arriving: people with reduced mobility, the pre-incident plan linked to the address, hazardous materials and comments from previous calls. They add their own comments to the current call card.

  • The most precise vehicle recommendation in the industry
  • Status changes from the vehicle
  • Pre-incident information, hazardous materials, special-needs records and risk coverage plan linked to the call card

Information is reliable and available at the right moment, and dispatchers and firefighters are freed from paperwork.

Police mobile dispatch

The police officers’ in-vehicle application. In the patrol car, the officer receives the call card, the route and the address history before even arriving. They update their status, add comments to the call card and can create an evidence lot on the spot.

  • Daily activity report (RAQ) built into dispatch and police management
  • Officer status shared with dispatchers in real time
  • Address history sent to the officer before arrival
  • Management of special assignments and activities, with effectiveness reports
  • Advanced search of past call cards
  • Evidence lots created directly in the call card: the chain of custody starts in the vehicle

Radar Map

See where each call comes from on a map, including the location of wireless calls using data from telecommunications providers. Radar Map also shows vehicle positions and brings several layers of information together in one place.
